"But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, 'Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.' And he took them in his arms and blessed them, laying his hands on them." Mark 10:14-16 (ESV)
Around 3 or 4 in the afternoon most everyday Gracie leads a devotion with us, after coffee and cookies. And our devotion on last Tuesday was about blessings and how you should bless people when you can. And Gracie was telling us how it's sometimes the culture here to have a kid run up to an elder and put there head down to receive a blessing, then they run along having been blessed. It brightens someone's day up, and it's cool knowing God used you to bless someone. This is a short blog, but I'll challenge you to bless someone, like Gracie challenged us. You can put your hand on their head and say,"blessings" or do it another way that let's them know God blesses them.
